It came to pass in the middle of the last century in the Black Forest that a diligent and skilled watchmaker invested all his knowledge and work in the development, assembly and repair of pocket and wristwatches. Carl von Zeyten made a name for himself far beyond the borders of Freudenstadt / Black Forest. He lived his dream, the dream of a perfect mechanical watch. In the following years, as a travelling watchmaker in Switzerland and England, he collected many impressions and techniques around the art of watchmaking. He was able to supplement his 'know-how' in various watchmaking workshops. Early on, CvZ recognized that very specific materials for the spring and balance wheel were suitable to enable a largely precise time display. Later, he used his experience to assemble some wristwatches for hand-picked customers in artisanal watchmaking. His quality standard has always been to improve the built watches again and again. His dream began to live and could be passed on to future generations. A few years ago, this tradition was remembered and a classic timeless watch collection was created without losing sight of the original. The wearer of a Carl v.
