New Release: Shanghai Watch "Biscuit Case" Reissue Timepiece

Celebrating its 70th anniversary, Shanghai Watch presents the classic reissue "Biscuit Case" mechanical watch, honoring seven decades of the brand's watchmaking heritage. This timepiece faithfully recreates the Shanghai "7110" model from the 1970s, which featured the unified Tongji movement. It revives the brand's pioneering Biscuit Case design—crafted during an era of material constraints—inspired by the classic cushion case. Using imported lathes, craftsmen meticulously carved unique diamond-cut radial patterns into the case, achieving an exquisitely shimmering visual effect.

The new "Biscuit Case" reissue houses the ST2130 automatic movement within a 36mm vintage-sized case. Its surface is finely engraved with radiant motifs, paired with a gradient radial fumé dial. Original design elements are preserved, including elongated hour markers, the "28 ZUAN" (28 Jewels) inscription, and a solid caseback, vividly reviving the spirit of the 1970s. Available in Vintage Gold or Bordeaux Red.
